corny, but funny still. The canon lawyer in me wants to know whether or not he has the proper faculty to absolve...?

Check out the right-hand column near the top, where you'll find a video of Mass from St. Louis.
Also, here's some pics from this weekend's road trip:

Summertime fun...
Summer break from school is shaping up nicely. I've been spending some time at the Tribunal (I have to do something to justify my existence...), but have also had the chance to: do some hunting, go to some ballgames, and even make a road trip...
Just getting back from the road trip: a weekend with some buddies in St. Louis. Went to a ballgame (Cardinals whooped-up on the Royals...), and checked out the Institute of Christ the King at St. Francis DeSales Oratory on the south side of St. Louis.
Here's some multimedia:
A Ballgame at Busch Stadium (gotta love the Budweiser song being played on the ballpark organ!):

Solemn Mass in the Extraordinary Form from the Pantheon...
Video from a recent Mass in the extraordinary form from the Pantheon in Rome. I remember the last time I was there (2 years ago now...) it seemed as if the altar had been set-up for such a celebration. Here is photographic evidence of it occurring. Also, this is yet another video of what seems to be a growing trend of extraordinary form Masses being celebrated at the major basilicas and shrines of the Eternal City...

Turkey...
Got home just in time to get in a couple days of hunting before spring turkey season ends. Out hunting with a former parishioner on his farm. Bagged this nice tom (17lbs, 7 inch beard). No state record, but not too bad...
Home for the Summer...!
Finals are over... made it back home on Thursday. Let's hear it for summertime.

Happy Derby Day
Took a break from studying for exams long enough to watch the second biggest upset in Derby history...! Yet another year goes by with me not picking the derby winner (last one was 1984 - "Spend-a-Buck"... I'm no handicapper!). Oh well, back to canon law...

Another Canonical Resource...
A note to all my canon law friends out there: I came across what might be a helpful (at least interesting...) canon law resource on the web. Check it out HERE. I also added it to my list of weblinks towards the bottom right of the page.
Best of luck to all my fellow canon law students as we get ready for our exams (especially you guys getting ready for comps next week...)! "Oremus pro invicem"
